Revised Ladder and results : ACP-2023-Parkrun-Challenge-League-Table.Week-14
With just two weeks left of our comp to go the ladder is starting to look very interesting.
Margaret Britton has nibbled further into Debbie Bland‘s lead which now stands at 82 points. Debbies gamble to nick the Fv70 course record at Heslington didn’t come off after two of the three York parkruns cancelled at the weekend and they all piled into Heslington. This made for a very conjested parkrun made more complex by a “medical incident” on the course. So Margarets superb performance at Skipton not only produced a PB, Age Grade win and Age group Win but also an extra ten points !
Further down the ladder, David Fox is breathing down the neck of Owain Gwilymjust a point behind now whilst less than half a point seperates Richard Walkerfrom Eleanor Thomson.
Fran Walker‘s Age Group win at Chevin moves her two places up the pecking order whilst Andrew Smith‘s 10 points at Roberts Park sees him sneak ahead of Derek Lee.
Karen Kempton & Jen S-p also did themselves a power of good at Roberts Park and move above Chris Taylor.
With Age Grade points back in play next week this could be the decisive parkrun of the comp and with potentially a lot of points to play for and only bonus points in the final week, its “crunch time” !
