Week 4 parkrun challenge results

Those of us who are of a certain vintage will recall the keen anticipation that set in on Sunday evenings when Pick of the Pops on steam radio listed the ups and downs of the “hit parade”
I’m feeling a bit like “Fluff” Freeman in the chair about to reveal this weeks movers and non movers ! So here we go pop pickers –
Still at No 1 after 4 weeks is Debbie “Cilla” Bland on 211.20 with another “non mover” at No 2 Margaret “Lulu” Britton with 181.78 and grabbing third spot on the podium for the lads is Craig “Englebert” Hoos only 3 points off “Lulu” on 178.99.
The big movers of the week of course are Andrew Humphries on the back of a tight 3 second win at Bradford which put 30 points in the bag and Richard Walker who joins the 100 club this week for the first time.
Hon mentions for Carole Keighley who won her age group at Bowling Park and Fran Walker who bagged a PB and won her age group at Chevin Park. Debbie Bland nailed in another week on top by breaking the Fv70 course record at Cliffe Castle, scoring a PB in the process and topping the Age Grading in 27:48.
Altogether this week we had 16 runners and riders who delivered one 1st place, 1 course record, 2 PB’s and 5 Age Group wins ( plus one 2nd & 2 third places).
